The Keyéll (kay-YELL) are the dominant culture in Ár-Baile and the region around it. They are tribalistic and egalitarian and have a strong heroic tradition. Ár-Baile is uncommon among Keyéll communities in that it represents the combined efforts of three principal tribes.


  • Ability Scores: Keyéll are as beautiful as they are graceful and have a deep love of both story and song. They gain +2 Dexterity and +2 Charisma.
  • Size: Keyéll are Medium creatures and thus receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  • Type: Keyéll are Humanoids with the elf subtype.
  • Base Speed: Keyéll have a base speed of 30 feet.
  • Languages: Keyéll begin play speaking Keyéll. Keyéll with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: Fròan, Gerran, Gnoll, Goblin, Kamite, Lokak, Olryth, Orc, and Sylvan. See the Languages page for more information about languages available in this campaign.

Defense Racial Traits

  • Elven Will: Keyéll gain a +2 racial bonus to saving throws made against magical sleep effects and against enchantment spells and effects.

Feat and Skill Racial Traits

  • Keen Senses: Keyéll receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
  • Bardic Tradition: Keyéll recieve a +2 racial bonus on Perform checks. Perform is always considered a class skill for a Keyéll.

Magical Racial Traits

  • Elven Magic: Keyéll receive a +2 racial bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance. In addition, they receive a +2 racial bonus on Spellcraft skill checks made to identify the properties of magic items.

Offense Racial Traits

  • Weapon Familiarity: Keyéll are proficient with longbows (including composite longbows), longswords, rapiers, and shortbows (including composite shortbows), and treat any weapon with the word “elven” in its name as a martial weapon.

Senses Racial Traits

  • Low-Light Vision: Keyéll can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
